I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. My homelessness started last year when my drug addict mother kicked me and my daughter out on the streets. I had nothing but my car, Instacart and faith and you truly have made me a believer of miracles. I’ve prayed and prayed for months on end and was faced with nothing but rejection, not knowing this blessing was waiting for me. You helped me and my daughter get off the streets, out of my car and into our very first place we can now call home. You heard my voice and immediately knew something was wrong and helped me in the most life changing way. This amazing woman called my complex and spoke directly to the manager and vouched for me and fought for me so hard that I got approved not once but TWICE!!! My move in fee went from $1300 down to $1200 and my rent went from $1200 to $900! I told her how much I had, my situation and she first and more most listened to me. She understood me and I felt heard and seen it what felt like months and finally she gave me a solution. She is truly incredible, and we need more people like her in the world who truly want to help and understand people. She didn’t have to do everything she did, but I am so grateful she went above and beyond to help me and my 8-year-old daughter get a fresh new healthy start. She will always be remembered for this! Thank you again Ms. Eshter!! She was on top of my case from the moment I signed but and still after I’ve been approved, she is still reminding me she is here. This process was scary because I didn’t know what to expect but honestly it was the easiest process ever. You would need to apply since a screening has to be done, there is a special available at the moment. The admin fee and application are just $99, the admin portion of the fee is $49 and is refundable if the application is denied.
You will need to apply online if you decide to apply, the monthly rent starts at $1176 for the 2 bedroom 2 baths, there may be an additional deposit and risk fee depending on the screening and if approved.

Hello….so I have applied and went through their second chance program and I have gotten approved …I am going to pay the deposit on it today at 1. I think after that I have 3 weeks to pay first month’s rent.
I just got an email I got approved and just need to wait on the email with additional information. Thank you again for looking and encouraging me to keep applying especially when I felt defeated and thought I’d never hear good news I’m extremely appreciative.

I had been searching for an apartment complex to move in with my 8 year old daughter after 3 months of searching was unable to get any fruitful results whether that be due to past rental history or my inability to make contact with prospective locations due to work hours. When they need for finding a place a residence became dire I reached out to a few locator companies and Home Rental Helpers were prompt in reaching out! My first contact with Jasmine was extremely helpful and informed me of the process from start to completion before I even was navigated to the process to pay. Once contacted with my amazing case worker Esther she was quick and extremely efficient in gather information from me in regards to my situation and what I was overall looking for in my next home for my daughter and myself. Before the end of that same day sent 10 listings that fell into that same criteria. After making my selection of the six the following day reached out with the answers from said locations. Although most were advising I not apply I was grateful of the effort due to the last couple of months contacting directly lead to application fees for the same end result I was relieved these didn’t come at the steep application fee costs that in most cases were non refundable. After telling Esther about my level of frustration and desire to give up on looking she encouraged me and gave me the confidence to continue my search then sent another group of properties and advised me to apply to a particular one that turned out to be the one that accepted me. Esther could have co-signed my fears and I would have stopped my search but became of her concern and encouragement I was able to find a property that seems to be managed by genuinely kind people I am so grateful she was the one assigned to me!

I just want to say Home and Apartments was extremely vital to me getting an apartment. I was worried this was all a scam but, it certainly was not a scam. Amber was great in giving me the courage to move forward with them. Then I received the email from Dory outlining what I needed to do and less than 4 days letter I got approved . She provided a comprehensive list of apartments with her recommendations , reached out to the office and provided me with a good contact who could walk me through the process. I’m still in shock about how quickly Home Rental Helpers worked with us to end the 3 year struggle my brother and I faced after the start of the 2020 pandemic. First and foremost, I want to personally thank Esther for her diligent work in giving us an extraordinary list of apartment and home options from the many zip codes I gave her within the MetroAtlanta area. It was important that we were flexible in us moving back to were we left off, but her listing gave me peace of mind in knowing that she was willing to put in the work to give us a list of options, and contact whichever ones we preferred. I would be wrong if I didn’t mention Mar who gave me confidence in even trying this service, by reaching back out to ME after an online inquiry, making what happen to us less of an issue and more of a small mountain to climb, in our search for stable housing.
Three years ago we lost everything and had to move out of state for two of those years. Based on the unfortunate nature of how we left, we were unaware that our precious landlord pretty much distroyed any easy way to get a new place to stay once we were finally financially able to move back to Georgia. Even tryng to settle for areas we originally wanted to avoid didn’t work. No one seemed to budge, and we were wondering if we could actually move back. However, with Esther’s quickness and ability to follow through with contacts, she was able to land the lead that was willling to work with our situation within the first week!
Mar was honest in informing me from the beginning to give their service 4-6 weeks, so I’m not saying this would be the specific case for everybody; however, we are extremely blessed and fortunate that we successfully MOVED in yesterday (Sept 8th) which was MUCH earlier than expected. It literally took slightly less than 4 weeks from my payment to a lease. I still can’t believe I have a key again to my own sovereignty. And a townhome at that (lol)! Honest to God, thank ya’ll soooo much, you helped save us from a really bad series of events. I will definitely be spending the word about what you did for us.
And peace and blessing to all who are going through these rough times. If it’s a housing issue, I say give them a call.

Our lease was up in Sacramento.
We decided to move down to Southern California to be closer to my 2 year’s old grandparents. Come to find out my 9 year old bankruptcy and 586 credit score became a huge roadblock.
I spent over 200 dollars in application fees to get rejected.
We came down and ended up staying in a motel paying weekly rates average 80 a night.
560 a week with no prospects to live after being turned down.
Time and money started dwindling.
STRESS ALL TIME HIGH !!
Then we were blessed with a call from Deborah. She listened and understood our situation.
Helped bring up our confidence and overcame all our concerns.
She was so pleasant and great. Words can’t express our gratitude.
We signed up and the team was in action instantly.
We were so impressed with case manager JO. She was so responsive and detailed.

After about 3 weeks and over 20 properties, Jo performed a miracle.
She found a place for recommendation.
She gave us the green flag.
I called the apartment manager and she is one of the nicest managers ever.
I brought all the documents and she sent them in same day.
Hours later phone call telling me
APPROVED !!
This apartment community is so quiet.
More spacious, better view, more markets, and covered parking.
Far exceeded our expectations after being rejected by Apartment communities not nearly as nice.
I am happy to report that I did get an official approval from Cedar Gardens . My move in date is 9/5/2023 and I just wanted to say thank you for all your help.
I will be seeking your help again later on down the line when /if needed .

So Wynwood Apts denied me because I’m in eviction. However, GVA, who denied me a few weeks ago, re-examined my application and I went and signed a lease yesterday! I’m picking the key up tomorrow. Thanks for all your help.

UPDATE: I sent a letter to the Judge requesting the Eviction be removed from my background record. I was sent the link to check to see how others checking my background would be viewed. When I checked the link, it wasn’t even there.
The studio apartment that I was In Love with got rented. There is another one in the same complex of MAA Frisco Bridges that Samantha sent to me. It will be available on October 8th to view: #1240, 714 sq ft., $1005.00 per month on a 13month Lease. So, I am still looking. In fact, I called today and MAA also has a studio apartment just opened up for least: #1357, 799 sq ft., $1357 per month.
Samantha is doing a FANTASTIC job of helping me with my credit repair. I will be writing the letters today to send out. She literally went line item by line item with me yesterday on my credit report. Thank you, Samantha! Key Credit Repair NEVER did that, and I’d been paying them since April and here I am in October and my credit is still not even in the 600’s.
Roy, I am hoping to land a part-time job soon to compensate for the $200 deficit in salary criteria, in terms of what MAA will work with me on.
